It had rained a lot the night before Saturday and it continued in the morning so the track was not in optimal condition. We waited for the track to dry up a bit and then went straight to qualifying in the afternoon and it was difficult so I ended up on P9.
On Sunday the track dried up completely and got very hard and bumpy, so my setup didnâ™t work very well during semifinal practice. Before the semifinal I changed my setup and the car worked very well afterwards and I could gain starting position 3 for the final.

Right before the start to the 45 minute final we had to change the glow plug so I started half a lap behind the whole field. There was only one thing to do, full throttle and get back to the front. Then 8 minutes before the end I had a great race with my friend Patrick Hofer and managed to take the lead.
But then on the last lap and on the downhill straight right before the finish line I ran out of fuel. During the duel with Patrick I had used a lot more fuel than usual and this cost me my first victory for Team XRAY and I came second.
